A new hotel opened in Jurmala - Rixwell Collection Seaside Hotel

In May, a new 4-star Rixwell Collection Seaside Hotel Jurmala was opened under the management of Mogotel, the leading hotel operator in the Baltics.

Rixwell Collection Seaside Hotel Jurmala is located in the center of the Latvian resort - on Jaunā 12, one minute walk from Jomas street and 200 meters from Dzintari beach. This is the second seasonal hotel of company Mogotel in Jurmala (the first was Rija Eiropa Hotel Jurmala), and the second hotel brand Rixwell Collection (the other is in Tallinn - boutique Savoy).

The hotel building was completely renovated in 2023 and today Rixwell Collection Seaside Hotel Jurmala offers 26 rooms, decorated in a modern Scandinavian style, which seamlessly combines minimalism and comfort for a pleasant resort experience. Spacious outdoor terraces with comfortable deck chairs are ideal for sunbathing and relaxing in the fresh sea air surrounded by a pine forest. There is a cozy room for unhurried breakfast on the first floor of the hotel.

Jurmala is still the second most popular destination for local and foreign tourists in Latvia. However, the resort town has a pronounced seasonality: hotels that do not offer a wide range of services, mostly closed in winter. High demand in Jurmala is observed only two months - from the second half of June to mid-August, and is highly dependent on the weather. Most of the holidaymakers are Latvians, as well as tourists from neighboring countries - Lithuania and Estonia - who book hotels at the last minute, focusing on weather conditions.
